The Blu Eye
is an underwater spring that resembles the shape of a human eye.
Beneath the water lies a very deep cave that pumps fresh water to the surface; it is over 50 meters deep, and the water temperature is around 10°C. You can walk along the forest paths and explore other nearby springs to admire the beautiful nature. The Blue Eye Nature Park is the area’s most visited attraction.

Butrint
Inhabited since prehistoric times, Butrint has been the site of a Greek colony, a Roman city, and later a bishopric. After a period of prosperity under Byzantine rule, followed by a brief Venetian occupation, the city was abandoned at the end of the Middle Ages as marshlands formed in the area. Today’s archaeological site is a collection of ruins representing every stage of the city’s historical development.
